The Living History Exhibition Hall is a space that displays the life history of Jung-gu, Incheon since the 1960s. It is a place where you can experience ancient relics and spaces, and the detailed old space such as Incheon Station, Chamber of Commerce, Barber Shop, and Funeral Hall at the time of the restoration gives you the impression of riding a time machine home.
Korea’s first hotel, the Daebul Hotel, has been renovated with a “reconstruction” that reconstructs the original site of the lost building and a “reconstruction” that reconstructs existing components. You can visit the “Jemulpo club,” a sacrificial offering that appears in the Korean drama “goblin.” Jemulpo Club was built in 1901 as a social gathering place for foreigners living in Incheon, including the United States, Russia and Japan. It is also known as the Jemulpo Club Hall. It is a two-story Western-style brick building with an iron roof and various facilities such as a social room, a library, a billiard table, and a restaurant. The exterior of the building was a suitable facility for social gatherings, such as a tennis court, which was rare at that time.
Incheon Chinatown is the most famous in Korea. In the past, it was the place where the most overseas Chinese lived, and now Incheon Chinatown is an exotic street with many Chinese restaurants, making it a good place for dating. Dozens of Chinese restaurants, Chinese bakeries, and cafes are thriving, and there are many attractions such as Samgukji Mural Street, Freedom Park, and Donghwa Village. Freedom Park, Incheon’s first western-style park, is famous for its statue of General MacArthur during the Incheon Landing Operation. There are many popular cafes in the eyes of Koreans these days, and the view of Incheon Port from the café is incomparably beautiful.
